Work It

There is this new trend at weddings...the well-coordinated dance routine done by the bride and groom with the members of the bridal train. Some are so good, that you would wonder how much time went into rehearsals and preparations. I'm very sure, there would have been need for a teacher or some dance lessons. There would have been lots of tweaking and rearrangements to get the perfect routine that's comfortable for both parties. There would have been times that it seemed awful and terrible, there would have been times that it seemed one person got it, but the other was messing it up. There would have been times that the couple felt like giving up but, the thought of how beautiful it would be on their wedding day, kept them going. I have seen people that hitherto claimed not to know how to dance, put up remarkable performances. If you would give your very best to make your WEDDING colorful and unforgettable...apply the same principles to your MARRIAGE.

  •  Learn (Through the word of God, books, right mentors)
  • Coordinate (Carry your spouse along)
  • Practice (Put what you learn, into action)
  • Be in Sync (Agree)
  • Adapt (Buckle in and get set for the new life/journey)
  • Get rid of what does not work for you (It does not have to be like someone else's)
  • Do not give up because it looks nothing like perfect
  • Keep doing it, until it is perfect
  • Focus on the goal (A godly/happy marriage is the goal, when you are weighed down by the demands...do not lose focus of the goal)

Marriage is a beautiful thing but it requires hard work, sacrifices and compromises. WORK IT do not QUIT IT
